Will powerbreaking give damage to car?

Here is a good question, will powerbreaking give damage to our cars. I think it may affect the transmission as the car is applying force to it but the brakes are holding the car still. It may also damage the engine for the same reason. I don't think it affects the brakes that much as because they used to have that load all the time.

I think it will only wear out the brakes because the brakes are trying to hold the car still.

How many times are you planning on doing it? I shouldn't do anything if you only try it a few times. But if it is every stoplight, you would probably run into some sort of brake or tranny issue.

There isnt a clutch. It uses a flywheel and torque converter, which uses a fluid to transmit power(the reason for so much drivetrain loss). Basically, you put more stress on the internals of the transmission. You dont do anything to the brakes because unless you are moving, they dont wear down.
