does anybody know the tyre profile on the 17 inch 18 inch and 19 inch stock tyres from porsche?
i ordered 19 inchers since the dealer told me that 20 inch wheels would have a lower profile.... and i want to upgrade to the 20 or 21 inchers, but do not want to compromise on the ride quality... any suggestions???? is it possible??

255/55-18
275/45-19
275/40-20
295/35-21

 

You can even do 22s with 285/35-22 and the ride will remain smooth.

 

Hey thanks EMART an DT_SOS911.. actually here in india the roads arent that nice and its good to have a higher tire profile. i abolutely love the 21 inch 5spoke design from porsche but want good ride quality and at the same time do not want to mess up the car so that the tyres hit the body at bumps or so..

What are everyone's thoughts about 285/35/22's vs. 295/30/22? I have been told by a very knowledgeable Porsche wheel and tire specialist that the 285's are the wrong size for the vehicle and should not be used. Others have encouraged use of them, and I have even seen a Porsche dealer put them on a new '08, but others still have said it throws the speedometer off.

 

so then finally , what is the maximmum tyre profile i can go for on the 21 inch wheels????
