Depending on the type of film that was applied. 3M and the Clearcoated Venture Shield can be waxed. It is VERY IMPORTANT that the edges wherever they are exposed be taped with 1/4" masking tape so the wax does not get build up on the them. after taping you wax the entire panel/section just as you always do, then you wipe off the wax, and then you remove the tape. Then you can use Plexus (plastic polish/cleaner) to wipe down the area where the edges of the film are.
If by accident you do get wax on the edges of the film, do not try and use any brashes or your fingernails to remove it. You will leave scratch marks on the paint where the film ends that later on if you go to remove the film will show and might not be possible to remove. Instead again use Plexus and keep wiping the edge until it softens the wax and removes it.

Check into have the clear bra over the whole hood and fender so you don't get that "line" across the metal.
This seems to be what the top shops are doing now. I saw a Jag with it done and you couldn't even tell and it was black.

Venture Shield looks the best on Black. Granted you must have a capable installer because black is one of the hardest to install on without leaving visible stretch marks and pull lines. Go Full Hood and Fenders, maximum protection. You'll be happy you did.
