If we all add the money that we pay to our stealerships together, we can actually open a new service center for 6speeders

Seriously, it is insane! I love my car to death, but the yearly $800 for a service that should not cost more than $200, makes me want to buy a toyota! lol JK!

I don't remember if the dealership's 30k service comes with diamond-based vaseline, but an indy shop can do it much cheaper. Just get a list from porsche of exactly what they check

I don't know what year your cayenne is but my CS 04 calls for servicing every 20000 miles. There is no 30K servicing called for.

Oil changes are every 20k miles, not 10k....although, 10k seems more reasonable.

Call around to different dealers. I found one that does it nearly half the cost of the others.

Guys,

The answers to most if not all of these questions are in the owner's manual. Here are a few tips for running a Cayenne on the cheap:

The only thing they actually do at 20K is an oil change. Just had mine done at the dealer for $130. That's all I'm spending. The fluids you can easily check yourself.

The other expense at around this mileage is tires. This also need not be a huge expense if you're running 18's for the daily commute. I found a near-new set (only 300 miles) off Craigslist for $475, including wheels. There are plenty of people giving these away so they can put on 22's.
