Should I add cat bypass pipes?

Hello,

I am planning to add cat bypass pipes to my 08 Cayenne S and I need to know how much performance boost will I gain and will it void my warranty. And how much it will possibly cost to me including the approx. labor.

Also, what other mods are available for a 08 Cayenne S.

Thanks

go for it,

I would conisder it on any V8 cayenne as they sound quiet throaty and free up some hp out of the car. Whilst you are at it get the BMC filters for an improved engine sound and when pressing the gas pedal you get a sort of nice "whoosh" sound that is an indication that it sucks more air into the engine providing additional performance and a much rev free powerband.

How 'bout the voiding warranty question? I'm extremely wary of voiding my warranty by adding mods. Our dealership is pretty notorious for not being mod friendly, so I don't want to get jammed on getting "mod happy".

as i know, adding bypass pipes to turbos generally decrease the dyno performance, what do you think p0rsch3?

well, I'm afraid my knowledge on Porsche turbos is limited. Since the bypass pipes are only replacing the secondary cats i would imagine impact would be minimal if any.

I guess a before / after dyno test would be the only way to tell

thanks! funny thing is it's a head turner before they even see it. I always see people turning around as they hear my car first, then turn around

I plan to but I would like to know if there is a power loss to the CTT? I thought it was a boost. Pun intended.
Less back pressure usually equals more power, less egt temps and sometimes faster spool.
