Hi Guys,

I was hoping someone could help me clarify some questions I had about the Magnum Kit.

I have a MY 2008 Cayenne (regular). I am trying to figure out what the kit comes with? Most of the sources have said it comes with Front Bumper (with foglights), Rear Bumper with diffusor, Side Shirts, Brake Cooling Ducts, Front & Rear Fender Flares. Am I missing anything?

I was told the options on top of the kit itself are the Hood, Tailpipe, and Sports Exhaust. Can I order only the hood and tailpipe without the sports exhaust?

Also, I have a tow hitch but no park distance control. Is there a way someone can provide me with the correct part numbers? I looked on www.techart.de but they have multiple part numbers for just the US version with Tow Hitch & no Parking Distance Control. I believe the 2 I saw were 048.100.058.009 - 01 and 048.100.056.009 - 01.

There was even a 3rd part number for the kit 048.100.053.009.

I cannot figure out the difference. Any help would be great!!

it should be pretty easy for u since ur in cali. Im in NYC and was also interested in the kit, i called CEC in Florida, spoke to the first person to pic up the phone. He gave me a breakdown of what the kit includes, priced it all for me. I really liked the kit, however just in body parts and wheels ur at 25k....not worth it. If u like the magnum, take a look at the speedart TITAN kit, it comes in at a much more appealing price.

also to answer your question, the kit includes all that u stated plus the little piece on the rear lid for the tailights (makes them look meaner), and if u look closer u will see that on the rear decklid, under where the license plate goes, there is a piece that goes flush on it and extends out to the same level of the rear bumper, real subtle.

The Magnum kit comes with the following:
* Front bumper, grilles, radiator ducts
* Fog & high beam lights
* Side skirts
* Brake cooling ducts
* Fender flares, front and rear
* Rear door panel
* Rear bumper with diffusor
*MAGNUM emblem silver or MAGNUM emblem black

As an option you can also add:
*Aero Front hood with air ducts
*Headlight Trim
*Taillight Trim

 

The part number that you have there is the part number for the Previous Generation Cayenne (up to 05-07).

The Part number that you are looking for is 055.100.053.009 (Cayenne V6/S with tow hook.)

As far as parts included are
- Front bumper with integrated air intakes, fog / high beam lights and front grille insert (black)
- Fender flares, front/rear
- Side skirts
- Rear door panel
- Rear panel with diffusor optic
- Magnum Badges

You CAN get the exhaust tips for the S without the getting the full TechArt "Sport" exhaust, and the Hood is sold separately also. You also would need the MAGNUM Spacers if you opt for the TechArt wheels....

I think you miss some. on FL models rear silencer should be replaced, because output pipes shape not suit to install TA endpipes! You can get OEM part (2003-2006MY) for reasonable price.

 

I ended up getting no kit at all, the prices are rediculous in my opinion. Then again if its what u want it obviously looks amazing, just not that worth it. Id rather do some engine mods or suspension mods for the same $.
