The CTT just arrived

You guys crack me up. I'll take some pix today once I get the car back from the dealership. It has been raining here in Seattle for about a week straight with no relief in sight. I took it in for the 40k mile service since it already has 38k miles. They said they could check out the whole car for me to make sure I had no reason to worry. $1500 for the 40k mile service. I'm sure not used to these baller service charges yet.

Got it back and took some pix for all you whiners It needs a good clay and a visit from the Porter Cable in the near future. That'll get the paint glowing like it should. If you saw the other post of the pix taken by the dealer you'll notice that I already debadged the 'extra' Porsche crest the previous owner stuck on the back (just above the 'Cayenne Turbo' badges).

Good recommendation. I'll probably do that for most of the routine stuff. I just figured I'd have the 40k service done by the dealership to kind of throw 'em a bone. Hopefully they'll help me out when/if something goes wrong while under warranty.

Nice get, ya-bum! Welcome to the club.
Check eBay for a remote with a blank. Should be around $50 to $75 USD. When I picked up my CTT, sight-unseen (but pics), it only had 1 remote. I promptly ordered more from eBay. Once you get a remote with a blank key, take it to your local Porsche dealer and they will cut the key to your VIN and then reprogram the remote.
As far as an additional 100 HP or more, there are some options with the 955 CTT ... check this forum for more information.
I believe the powered rear hatch is only offered on the 957 Cayennes (2008 and on), but I may be wrong - it may be also offered on the 2006 955. It is common for the struts in the hatch to fail. I recently had mine replaced ... now the hatch goes up with ease.
You've got a great set of mods to begin with - enjoy!

its about time you posted damn pics,
looks pretty sick IMO, liking the stance, wheels, exhaust, etc.
I just dunno about those rear "eyelid" type things on the tail lights
Now take interior pics!!!
haha, keep it up

It's got a nice low rpm rumble from the outside of the car. Not very loud from the inside. Higher rpms sound pretty sweet. I haven't heard a stock CTT before so I can't tell you how different it really is - but I likey, I likey very much. A very different kind of throaty sound than my CTS-V. You just can't beat a good ol' American push rod V8 with a lopey cam!

Damn dude! I didn't realize that was aftermarket. Is that part of the TechArt kit or just some cheesy stickers. Meh, I'll probably just leave 'em there to bug you.
