I guess I'm a prick now

I have found something really interesting with my 996 gt3...people 99 percent of the time LOVE the car and actually will either move out of the way or let me go first at intersections etc...I have NO idea whats up with this behavior. I cant count the amount of thumbs up and questions that I get about the car and its kinda creeping me out...as I havent ever had this with any other car. That said, I definitely got flipped off a couple of days ago for running pretty close to a guys bumper who was blocking an otherwise empty freeway. Whatever...
BTW were you at the NNJR Pocono event a few weeks back? If so I was driving with you and your car is beautiful. Did you fix the rear bumper?

It's the color. I have a cobalt 964 turbo 3.6 and it gets more attention because of the color than anything. I have driven with a number of other 964 turbos and have had people single me out because the color is very unusual.

You have any pix of the Cobalt beauty?

This is mine sechsgang will have to post his own. I would like a 997 GT3 in cobalt one day. For now my C2 for track duty will have to do.
Cobalt is a tough color to capture especially the earlier formula which changes so many different colors depending on light.
My favorite is the last one. With a few bolt on mods. Last I had it dynoed it was at 430 BHP with 450 torque. Since then I have done some minor intake and exhaust work. I guess it is close to 450 hp and 460 torque. All I know is it feels a heck of a lot faster than it did at 430. Now she breaks the 295 PS2's loose at 5000 rpms in the 1st 3 gears with ease, very similar in feel to a friends GT2 with a slightly less linear power band.
If you know anything about 94 turbos, th are rare. this one of 3 in this color and the only one with black interior.
Enjoy.
I apologize to the OP for Off topic

^^you're welcome. i bought mine a couple of years ago and i've received lots of compliments on them. i wish that you could choose the color of the car though. i wanted the 996 c2, but it only came in maroon. maybe one of these days they can make custom ones. =)

just hope they don't charge for custom the way Porsche does!
