What would you buy: '08 GTS or '09 S?

+1 gts
no one is going to see your NAV system when you drive by but at least they will hear your tuned exhaust!
it really depends on your preference though. i would recommend test driving both cars

Cannot believe you asked- The S looks like a Cayenne and the GTS looks like a CAYENNE!!
My feeling is when you look in the rear view mirror and you see a new Audi, you know it is an Audi, or BMW for that matter. When look and see a Cayenne you want the person to know it is a GTS (or Turbo)!!!

does your financial availability allow for a GTS?
If so no brainer.
Get the GTS even if it's a year older.
Besides the front/rear lower sport package, wheels, tires, and a ton of other options including the engine bored out.
Same v8's just a few more horsies.
The internal difference is the NAV, you can do the aux input and bluetooth after but as of right now you cannot upgrade the nav.
With that said, if I had my choice I would always get the better model over those two if they are optioned evenly.
If they are optioned differently, i would get the one with the FUll leather, PDCC, rear camera, parktronic, lighting package. that's what mine has.
only wish I had the PANO, but it wasn't around when I was looking and I didn't want to wait.
GETthe GTS, it's what your name states, so why the confusion.

Hey guys,
Thank you for the response so far. To answer your question, I'm not one to spend much on cars - it's not really about budget for me, but I can do better things with the money.
I originally went in to purchase a Cayenne V6 and then realized I needed a couple of my buddies on the back pushing the car forward to make this go, so decided to get the S. As I began adding accessories, I realized that I could get, for the same price, a GTS with less accessories. At the end of the day, I'm really looking for nav and xenon light - the rest I don't care.
Many ppl have been claiming on ealrier posts that the new nav is an impressive addition to the car, and I really wanted to know whether some would consider that over looks. I set myself a cap on my spend for this and will stick with that.
Many thanks once again,
I_Want_a_GTS (seems like this will stick) or I_Want_a_Just_S ( depending additional posts)

Guys,
Thanks for the response - GTS it is.
Now that this has been solved, I have another problem...what's the deal with a new Cayenne coming in 2011?!?! They even have videos on test drives and etc. Can't they keep the same body style for a little longer? Again, I don't know much about cars, but the 911 looks the same to me - 1999 vs. 2009 - let's do that with the Cayenne, ohh well (humm...will I get punched by this statement? not sure - for the untrained eye, it looks the same)
I don't want to buy another car that will only last for <3 years...does anyone share the same feelings? My RS4 is outdated now and I've had it for less than 3 years...
