Tire & Wheel Capabilities....

Can the Cayenne handle a 305/45/22 tire on a 22" x 10 Rim...

Or is it better to play it safe and use 295/40/22??

Check out Tirerack ... they list tire sizes that require a specific wheel width.

Regarding whether or not a 305mm tire will fit, it depends on the wheel offset. I had 295mm tires on 22" wheels with a 50mm offset (ET) and it appeared that there was more room for a larger tire.

It's easy to calculate - do some research at Tirerack ... measure your existing tire/wheel combo and then do the math. Not rocket science by any means.

That would not work.

You can run 315/30/22, 305/30/22, 295/30/22 or 285/35/22.

I am waiting for the new Toyo's Proxes ST II to come in the 315/30/22 for my new wheels coming.

the reason I am inquiring is because I loved (Cognac's) setup when he had the CS Black on Black wheel package - he was running 285/35/22 all around, but I think its possible to squeeze a 295/35/22 in the rear
to give it linear alignment with the fenders.... I am also hoping to put the truck low with the KW Coilover set.. I am undecided on the Tecnho's 22 or a thick 5-Spoke Aluminum Wheel.... I drive around North Jersey and the roads are not made for thin tires... the more tire I can get the best I'll be..... My aim was to put at least a 40/22 but I can do with the 35/22....
