Yeah... Bose sucks. I'd imagine it's actually an option in the Grand Prix

actually it comes in the A5 as well for $850.00, although I wasn't too impressed.

In general is there any difference between 08 and 09 CS?
You can have an aftermarket nav installed(Alpine or Kenwood) now without having to change out the factory amp or speakers. It will work directly with the MOST system,,,and retain steering wheel controls...(Alpine only on the steering wheel controls)

Bose makes different levels audio. I'm personally not a big fan of Bose, however they do make goog audio system on some cars. Can't say much about stereo they use on Porsche cars since I never heard one.
I wonder who makes stereo for BMW, their premium sounds system is amazing.

I just put in a Kenwood 8120 full touch Unit w/ USB, Ipod, Navi, SAT Radio, and threw in the Backup Cam.... My Installer had to rewire and use a Kenwood Amp and toss the Bose Amp but I am still using all the Stock Bose Components and the Systems sounds Super Good, I also got the Canpulse 4 to use the Sterring Controls (only volume and source work...)

Thats a nice upgrade you guys did. With the interface we use you retain the Bose Amp. That means less expense for the customer by not having to have a new amp installed...
