I've been trying to sell my 06 turbo for $34K with no luck. The market has dropped off completely.

Wholesale pricing now looks like this (30 -40K Miles) :

2006 Turbo
Above: $35,700
Average: $32,600
Below: $29,500

2006 S
Above: $26,500
Average: $24,700
Below: $22,800

I have been trying to get a dealer to take my mint loaded 16,000 mile 05S + $5K in cash for a higher mileage turbo. So far, to takers. My math was based on them buying the turbo for $31K, Selling my trade for $33k making a $2K profit there + my $5K= $7K profit. So far no dealer has bit as I suspect most of their used inventory is still owed at pre to mid meltdown pricing. I spoke to one dealer yesterday who paid $43K for the 04 they were selling. I wish them the best of luck with that one. I have been looking now for over 1 month and still cant get this deal done. I am sure I will soon as they start buying cheaper from auction. If not, I will go to private sale. Whats pressing me is I have a jubily kit siting in my garage waiting for me to either put it on my S or for a new turbo. I wont wait for ever as the S is still an awesome vehicle.

Yea, the 06 CTTS have definately dropped in price. Private sellers are the best way to go if your in the market. I have found some to hover below $50k with miles below 35k in nice colors and options. I just hope i move my car and pick one up shortly.
