Question Techart Module Owners Please Check in...

So I received my Techart Module this week...That's the good news.
The bad news is I can't find a dealer to calibrate my ECU.
This is almost comical, i've called 3 dealers and they've all told me they won't do it. What a crock of S**T!

Where did you TA Module owners get yours installed??

Thanks

J

Mine was already installed when I bought the vehicle. It was modded by some shop in LA though... Find a shop that Porsche enthusiasts use. Shouldn't be too hard to find in California.

copasetic222 is infamous around these parts
My dealer in the Midwest did it but it was their first and it took some coaxing. When I talked to CEC (the TechArt distributor in the US) they said they had a dealer that did it for them. They are also in California. I'd ask them where they go and who else in your area they may know that would do it.

Forgive my ignorance but why do you have to calibrate the ECU for the lowering module?

I had mines for over 2 years now. Installed it myself and never had to do anything else. No problem so far!

Sounds like the Cali porsche dealers need to step their game up!!!!

Got mine done at the Porsche of the Main Line (PA)

I'm pretty sure that the unit needs to calibrated with the ECU to ensure that no warning lights come on.
