owners of 2ndary Catbypass Pipes....

so im thinking about getting some 2ndary Catbypass Pipes. I have seen and heard all the videos out there. but i have never heard any clips inside the vehicle. so my question is to the owners out there, is this catbypass a pain in the cabin? i had some on a 997c2 and it was annoying after awhile.

I've had Fabspeed cat bypass pipes and mufflers since I took delivery of my '09 Turbo S in September and can't imagine the vehicle without them.

Not at all, these trucks are very well insulated.

I had installed them a while back. In the cabin you can't tell the dif. If you stand behind the pipes there is a nice improvement in the rumble .especially when cold starting. Other than that I think that it still needs a bit more. Cartgraphic makes a "not so noisy" cat back system..

It doesn't take anything away in the cabin at all. I really didn't think it added that much sounds until I drove with the windows down one day. For me, I don't really want anything loud so I really like the mod.

The cat bypass add almost no drone outside of immediate startup. You will love the modification.

i remember that there was a guy who was complaining about some kind of metallic sound coming from his exhaust after the mod, is that for real? is it annoying? is the sound better than the stock exhaust system or worse?

The only metallic sound you will receive is in the first 10 seconds of a cold start until the metal gaskets expand from heat and stop rattling. Other then that, if you hear any metallic banging, your pipe is hitting the cross member bar and can be easily adjusted up. Sounds much better then the muffled stock system.
