There is an appreciable amount of difference in ride quality between the 20" and the 22" wheels. The 22" look great on the Cayenne, but if you drop the reins and let'r run, the 22" WILL get damaged - out-of-round or in my case, I cracked/split two wheels. These vehicles weigh almost twice that of a 911 ... it's simple physics - something is going to give. I base my un-biased opinion on California roads (Interstate, highway, country/canyon roads and surface street roads).

Oh, wheel damage is a different story. Try Cleveland roads after one of our wonderful winters. In fact right about now. The chuckholes are worse than the Ho Chi Minh trail after a strafing. I damaged a right front 22 in a chuck hole. Of course I also damaged a stock 20", too. They will both get damaged if you hit something hard enough. But obviously the 22 will get damaged easier.

That new Toyo tread pattern sux compared to the first one. Half the fun with tires is the tread pattern!!...lol...22's will run stiffer but just adjust the setting as others have mentioned.

Falken made by Dunlop should be a very good budget tire.
Have'nt tried it myself but will do next time.

just put on the parada specx and went witht 275/45/20 to replace michelin diamaris 275/40/20. Ride is softer for sure but can't tell how much is aspect ratio vs tire. Huge difference to the better in road noise. Definitely like the slightly fuller wheel well. Bought the yoko's based with the help of Damon and lot's of good feedback here. Will be driving to the snow this weekend and hoping for good results.

Toyo Proxes for me. Really like them. The ride quality going from 20s to 22s is the same from my experience.
