My Cayenne S just hit 60k miles and I want to bring it in for servicing. I was just quoted $1450 for a 60k mile service, which I think is a rape job. What exactly is included in the service? What should I have my mechanic perform on the Cayenne if I choose not to go to the dealer? Are there any So. cal shops (preferably in the downtown/hollywood area) that people can recommend? Any help is appreciated.

i would look for a specialized p-car shop in your area, they will do the service for alot cheaper. maybe even half the price.

Complete Functions Test
Road Test Before & After Service
Oil Change
New Air Filters(2)
New Cabin Filter
8 New Spark Plugs
New Serpentine Belt

I was quoted $750 for the 60K service. I'm doing it myself. I'll change the brake fluid when I replace the rear pads in the few months. Spark plugs should be a piece of cake and I already change my own oil.

Just had the 60K service done at Technology Automotive, 1200 W. Whittier Blvd, Montebello (323) 722-7755. This is where I take my 05 CS. Very happy with the service and out the door cost when the work on the truck.
