Exclamation Is it noticeable using 275/45/20 as opposed to 275/40/20?

I just want to fill up the wheel well as best as possible while still being able to drive somewhere to go snowboarding. Does anyone have a picture of their Cayenne on 275/45/20 that they could post?

Thanks! - Mikhail.

You are changing the circumference of your wheels, so you speedometer will be off as well as your ABS etc. I would keep the sizes according to recommended ones.

So, just out of curiosity, can P-dealer deny warranty service due to the fact that you are running on non-recommended size of tires? or blame on the different size of tire being the cause of the drive train failure?

I know Honda tried to blame on everything towards the aftermarket parts,,, how do I know? My 2nd car was Honda Accord during my undergrad years.

I went from stock 18"s to 20 - originally ordered th 40's but canceled them after reading lots of stories about a horrible ride w/no air suspension. I love the ride and the look is right.

I'm doing it. 275 45 20 vredestein suv's on Cayenne 06 turbo S. So far it is very nice. Turned TPMS off. After 800 miles, pulling to the right, though, and may have to get balanced Or aligned. Didn't start out with any issues, though. I believe it's a safe move. Odometer shows a few MPH less.

I put on 275/45/20 and have been to the dealer for warranty service a couple of times. Have never had an issue. It is a very small difference and can tell you that every time I pass one of those damm "you are doing 75 in a 55" electronic signs I am within 1 mph of where the sign shows. Not perfect but close enough that I don't care. It looks better and fills in the wheel well better. Still need to drop it a bit.

my speedometer is actually about 5% faster than actual speed. so changin from 40 to 45 ratio will in fact bring it back a little.
