Thumbs up sprint booster installed

Install time: 20 mins max
the instructions are precise and very helpful. infact it is easier than how it looks...

instructions::
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post2264829

immediately after I installed the item, the vehicle felt more powerful. took it out for a quick run around the block and was getting thrown back into the seat at every light.

The slack in the throttle has almost diminished and the feel is awesome. the vehicle feels light and crisp. The exhaust note is a little more throaty...

I, am hoping that this will reprogram the transmission to the new driving style which will make it twice as good...

I, would suggest staying a little back from the vehicle in front till you get used to the new driving character of the cayenne.......

place to order is:
GMP Performance

ps: if you are ordering the item into canada, ask matt to send it via usps and not ups. ups basically tacks on a $100 for taxes and brokerage fees.

Which model of Cayenne do you own? Does it 'throw you back' starting in 1st or 2nd gear?

Nope, gone through 4 tanks of gas since I installed mine and I'm still getting 420-440 miles on a full tank

EVERYONE should buy the sprintbooster, It is easily one of the best mods available.

lol how do you figure that? It's just changing the throttle map!

Honestly can't see the point in this, but then again I haven't driven one with the standard ECU. The throttle on the Ruf ECU is very sensitive anyway, takes finesse to drive it smoothly.

What about the 2nd generation?

Hi...Was thinking to buy this - great to hear a positive review....BUT have heard a few comments that this is just like the S button on the 2nd gen? or the same as turning off PSM. - When you do that driving along, it already pulls up the revs 600rpm or so...

So is it a similar effect? What happens when you fit this to a 2008 "S" and then turn off PSM and push "Sport"

Any thoughts? experiences!? Same as NO PSM response - but no wheelspin!?

i drove it with psm off as well---it is bloody quick for a suv----before i always had to go psm off too enjoy some spirited driving but with the sb installed there is no real need to turn psm off-----i am finding out new things every day---even in third and 4 th gear it has great response-----
