Turning Lights

I am a new owner of a 2006 Cayenne Turbo. I had a 2005 Cayenne S and it had lights in the front that would come on when I turned. My current Cayenne turning lamps don't work. Is this something that I have to turn on somehow?

Chances are those bulbs need to be replaced. I don't think you can turn that function off.

If a bulb is burned out, you will get a warning in the cluster. Also, if one side goes, neither side functions.

You'd hope that the warning light shows up, but when I took my car in for service they replaced the turning light and I didn't have a warning in my cluster. The warning light isn't infallible, but it is pretty damn nice.

Oh, I didn't know that if one light went out, neither one would work. That seems really strange. I'll have the dealer check out the lights when I take it in for service next week. I have twin DVD players to install, a strange steering wheel noise, the cornering lights issue and the summer tires to install (still need to decide on 20" or 22" wheels).

thanks for the replies!
