09 Cayenne S stock exhaust sound
I'm posting a clip that I took not long ago. My car is completely stock with less than 700 miles on it. To me, it sounds pretty good stock, but thinking about getting the fabspeed bypass and BMC filters. People with those mods with stock exhaust, does your car sound better?

I need mine to sound more like this. I just picked up a 2004 Cayenne Turbo yesterday and it was pretty much up to my expectation all around with the sole exception being the exhaust. I can barely hear it running inside the car even under pretty hard acceleration and outside the car at idle I literally can not hear it. I thought the damn truck was turned off at first when I was standing outside.
So...I will be definitely be doing some exhaust mods. What is the "fabspeed bypass" and BMC filters? [Edit, I found out about the Fabspeed bypass and ordered one this morning....should be on by the weekend and I'll post a video]
I guess with the turbos its going to be quieter and more constricted than a naturally aspirated motor, but I really want to open it up a bit. Hate to admit this but my 4.7L V8 Grand Cherokee sounds way better under acceleration right now than the CTT...

For sure the fabspeed bypass pipes are a must. I put them on my '05 CTT and it sounds so much better. I mean mine was never that loud in the first place so it should make sures sound even better.
Silver TT-- as for the bypass pipes they are basically "straight" pipes that eliminate the rear two catalytic converters. Seeing as the Cayennes have 4 cats the rear two just mainly quite down the system.

Not doctored. 100 percent stock and had 300 miles on it when i shot the video. The truck feels faster each day as it slowly breaks in. Cant wait to get the bypass and bmc filters on! The only thing is the car is very well insulated from the inside. So you don't hear much of the music. I drive with my windows down all the time
