Need info on buying a cayenne turbo S.

Hello All,

This is my first post here. I've been reading the forum for a while now.
I have my eyes on a 2006 cayenne turbo S .
The car I'm looking has 51k miles , obviously out of warranty.selling at $45k.
Is that a good price ?
any recommendations a turbo s vs turbo or a gts model ?
Planning on light mods ( power , lowering and maybe wheels etc..)
Any of you have an a non porsche warranty ?

any replies are greatly appreciated .

Thanks .

Check this out. I don't know if the price is great or not but it's a CPO car.

you could get a reasonable CS for maybe 20-25k so 45k for a CS is defintely not the greatest deal.
45k on a CTS is a great deal imo, might wanna try a carfax report and check out the vehicle before you buy it though.

I have a 2006 Turbo S that I obtained 3 months ago that had 24k miles and got it for $53k (OTD) $46k before fees, 1 owner. I would say that the above price is too high with that mileage and no warranty left. I picked the Turbo S because it really needs nothing at all. It's an incredible sporting SUV. Mine had 20" Gemballa wheels and internal carbon fiber trim kit for that price as well. There are many on the market of all types. Take it slow and select the right one with what you want, lower miles, for the right price.

Good to hear. I think I have my eyes on a TURBO S. My first choice was a bmw m5 because it was a complete car (power, sport, luxury) but with the turbo s its even more complete ( power, sport, luxury, off road & tow the race bike :-) .

I m going to test drive a turbo S trmw and post a feedback.
Thanks for everyone's input.

ps: is keyless start an option on porsches ?

It has the Sport Design Kit. It was about an 8K upgrade. My folks have it on their Cayenne and its my favorite upgrade on the car. I think that price for a 16K 06 TTs from a dealership is a good price. Good luck.

Cool

$75,000 off original MSRP -- you have to love the depreciation

2006 Turbo S one owner lease return with 19,000 miles on it

CPO with almost three years of coverage remaining

So far . . . so very good

$75,000 depreciation is off $130,000 original MRSP (the first guy added a few things) so the result is $55,000 price on CPO 2006 Turbo S (three year lease return) with 19,900 miles. Just do a cars.com search and you will find several available if you search 500 miles or the entire USA.
Good luck.
