What`s a good %discount for GTS now
Hello All,
I am in the market for a 2009 GTS with most of the stock performance options. What should be a good discount I should get from the Dealer. They are having a 1.9% Finance up to 60 months. I am not great with bargaining.
Thanks,

i have heard up to 20k off on them, but that's rare.
I think about 10k is more likely. I could very well be wrong. Get some price quotes from local dealers via email to get a feel of it.

i just bought my gts on july 4th and the sticker was 86 k and after taxes and liscencing it came out to 96 but we got it down to 86 out the door so 10 k seems to be pretty normal but im almost positive if you wait one more month or just talk to them for a few weeks you will get the price you want cuz thats wat i did.. consider the 2010 modles are coming out soon as well so they will drop the 09 prices pretty soon cuz they need 2 get rid of them

I bought a leftover 2008 about a month ago. I paid $63k on a $84515 sticker.
When I was shopping, the same dealer offered me a similar 2009 for ~$70k, but it was an automatic. After driving the 6spd manual, I decided the tiptronic was not for me.

The challenge is to find a GTS that is not black and/or has the right options. It is very meager pickings right now and if you want a good deal, you'd better be willing to accept compromise.
The GTS is very popular. Now, if you are looking for anything but GTS, then you might have better luck. If you don't mind the old PCM (without the touchscreen) there are fantastic deals on new 2008's.
Devil is in the details, as always

Last month, I picked up a 09 GTS (MSRP 93K+) for 76K from Herb Chambers in MA. Had the car shipped to CA for $1200. The dealer also added the OEM bluetooth and ipod interface for 1K. Oh, by the way make sure you get one with the PDCC option, it's that good and definitely worth the $$$

The dealer where I bought my car was Len Stoler Porsche near Baltimore. My sales guy was Chad Prinkey. His e-mail is cprinkey@lenstoler.com. They had a white 2009 GTS (tiptronic/tow/not sure on PDCC) at a good discount from MSRP. The other dealer local to me was Rockville Porsche. They had some 09s, but I was looking at leftover 2008s - at the time, they had 2 2008 silver/black GTS (tip/tow/PDCC) that were available for ~$16-17k off sticker. My salesman there was Roger Gahan. His number is 301.296.2800.
