Blue Tooth Factory Retrofit Kit

Blue Tooth Factory Retrofit Kit
Has anyone done the installation of the Blue Tooth Retrofit Kit in the PCM 3 themselves?
It's too late for me to add Blue Tooth to my build order. Dealer says they can add it at the dealership for $1350.
SunCoast has it for $695. They do say that a professional installation is required. Anyone done it themselves.
Will the Durametric Diagnostic Tool handle the recoding necessary to get it to work?

This or any (factory) addition to PCM3 is not a DIY. Everything has to have coding to make it function, and this is not even accessable to a dealer until the system to be added has been ordered by VIN. Assuming you are talking about factory bluetooth, and not the NAVtv multifuntion addition, which adds bluetooth, auxilary audio input, and iPOD.

Speeddemon is correct. This kit has to be installed by a dealer, all of the PCM 3 goodies are specifically coded. When you place the order, we submit your VIN number to Porsche, and they will add a specific Bluetooth code to your VIN number (we don't have to do this, we do it to speed-up the installation process for our customers). Then your local dealer has to activate the function, and add the code.

What would you guys charge to sell the factory retrofit kit installed? If you don't want to publish that here, please PM me. I travel to FL regularly on business; and would be happy to drop a few miles further south for the right price. Thanks.
