I just ran into this article from Forbes listing the vehicle turkeys for 2004. Most vehicles seem to be Fords but the Cayenne made the list on the basis of 5 recalls for MY 2004. They said that the vehicle shines in other areas.

Well, As Most Of Us Know, The Cayenne Isnt Perfect, But I Dont Think Recalls Mean Much, Comparing One Vehicle To Another. As A Former Mercdes ML Owner, I know That The ML Should Have Had Alot Of Item Recalled That Werent, But Porsche Seems More Willing To Issue A Recall Than Other Manafacturers.
