Anyone Running 285 40 22 on their lowered cayenne ?

Hey folks,

So in continuation of my other post, I want to hear from all of you who are/had been running 285 40 22 on their cayenne, lowered or not. I understand that this will throw the diameter off by +8.7%, but to my understanding, this should not affect AWD, psm or anything like that since we are going 8.7% on all 4 tires, wich will make rotation equal on all axel.

I heard too many story of 22" cracking etc... we don't have nice roads up here, especially in this part of the year...

Cheers

i'm running 285/35/22 on the techarts and there isn't much space left in the fender liner. My car is stock ride height. Interested to hear if anyone runs 40 series. For me the 35 series look a little like rubberbands and i'd like a little more sidewall for looks as well as the reasons you outlined above.

might want to switch to a 22" monoblock forged wheel.

How about 305/35/22. Those have a 30.4 inch diameter.

I am also curious to know if Vredestein 305/35/22 will work on a Cayenne GTS with Techart lowering module.

305/35/22 got installed in my 2009 GTS with techart lowering module and cleared all levels without any adjustment
