Dipped Beam Light?

Hello all,
Have a dipped beam on the left headlight on a 2004 Cayenne S. Initially it was random. Now it won't come on at all. I would like to get at the headlight and clean the connectors. Do I have to go through the left front wheel well to get at the headlight? It doesn't look like I can get to it through the engine compartment. Thank you.

Check your owners manual, there is a tool in the back hatch area that you use to remove the headlights from the truck. It is accessed in the front of the engine bay with w small plastic cover on the radiator support. Very easy to remove and replace once you know how.

Just as an FYI, its loose but more likely it is about to go out. Replace in pairs because one will always go before the other and you dont want to be driving with one headlight out........no reason to give the police a probable cause to pull you over on a date or to check tint etc.........

The Cayenne headlight housing usually just needs to be "pushed" into its connectors. I've noticed sometimes the housing itself is not completely in place after replacing a burnt bulb. Did the whole unit go out, or was it just the headlights? If all lights are out, it's most likely due to the whole housing not being in place.

Just had this done to my car today, simple install. If you can help it, buy the bulbs elsewhere...my dealer charged me somewhere around $24 per light.
