PCM Problem

PCM Problem
The PCM on my 2005 CTT is broken, and dealer recommends to replace the entire head unit. (amp and speakers are ok and will not be replaced) I am not too impressed with the PCM and the cost to replace the units seems rather high.
Is there a better way to go aftermarket?

lol, yeah its nice but its a high price to pay. I think i ended up being 3g's out of pocket by the time i was finished. The Pioneer is $1300, Harness is $500, steering wheel controls were close to $100, then tax and installation. Oh and the stupid face plate was $300 i think. Then i added amps and JL sub box.
The PCM (PCM2) i have for sale is out of a 2008 Turbo with Bose (not sure if that matters) the model no is BE 6693, if yours is a PCM 2 then i wouldn't think there would be a problem.
