My Parrot BT installation

My Parrot BT installation
After getting my '05 CTT and reading thru several forums regarding BT installation, I discovered that this is one of the frustrations of those owners with PCMs not equipped with phone buttons. After doing further reading, I have come to the conclusion that this is the only (simple) way to install a BT system in my '05 CTT of which the PCM didn't come equipped with built-in phone buttons (which is required for the BT option on my Dension iPod integration).
Since I've also read that the Parrot doesn't yield good results when connected directly to the Bose system, I trusted the feedbacks of those who had already experienced the frustration of doing so, as well as decided I don't want to be playing around further by trying the center speakers, connecting this wire to that, etc.
Therefore, I decided to use Parrot's external speakers for the simplest (and effective) installation.
Driver's point-of-view. Nothing is blocking the display and the buttons are an easy reach.
Placement of the microphone. So far, based on the several BT systems I've done on my cars, this seems to be the most effective microphone location.
External speaker placement. Clears both my right foot and leg.
I had my local electronics shop do the installation. The Parrot hooked up to my Blackberry 9700 without any issues & automatically downloaded my contacts. When I was talking to my friend last night, he didn't even know I was using my car's bluetooth system. The external speaker is loud enough within the Cayenne's cabin.
Couple of drawbacks. Display is hard to read during daytime and, since this is totally independent of the PCM, mute function is done manually on the steering wheel. I wonder if I can connect the mute wiring to the PCM for automatic muting. Further research will be done. Anyone with Parrot installations, please chime in.
Thanks.

Good one mate! I tested the parot an was shocked at how good it worked. While you have a good solution, if you ever feel more adventurous, I would encourage you to take a shot at connecting to the C's stock centerchannel. It's not that tough of a job and gets the sound up near ur ears. And yes, that's just an opion from a guy who is **** about clean integrated installs
