I need whatever your smoking, when you mod your ECU your car will not be warrantied if they test and find it had been modded. The only company that allows modding is BMW and only through Dinnan and actually bmw doesnt warranty the car Dinnan will warranty any problems that are directly affected by the Dinnan product. Porsche will void your warranty for just a lowering mod. Tuners don't warranty anything because they know the results can be disastrous.
I'm betting your a vendor posting this crap about tunes not voiding warranties. When you get tunes you have to pay to play.
As for mail order tunes they are all crap since the tuner never see's the car/truck. Every car is different and if your tuning it should be on a load bearing Dyno or tuned on the road for real world driving. Also temp, humidity, altitude play a big part in the tune. I've had high hp z06 650rwhp, bmw m6 475rwhp, ford lightning 750rwhp and Cobra 890rwhp. All tuned to my car by the tuner. I ran winter and summer tunes on all cars to keep it safe.
Taking your car to a tuner is the RIGHT way to go not with an expensive mail order cookie cutter tune. Trusting a 100k+ car to a tuner that you have never met, no nothing about his/her training and no guarantee of safety is just silly. Well unless money or the car means nothing to you.
Also im talking about ECU tuning not mechanical tuning like exhaust etc. although Porsche will void your warranty for oiled aftermarket filters.

Vivid Racing now offers a new tuning system which you can read more about at www.vrtuned.com. We are no longer affiliated with or represent the other product.

Protomotive said they'd stick it on their dyno for $1400 or so. Props to Vivid racing though for bringing up their dyno sheet. Thing is I'm only seeing 45-50 hp gain with 2nd cat by-pass. Torque looks pretty huge around 100 ft/lbs.
Seeing the AFR numbers made me curious to what the stock values were and how much cushion is added at higher RPM.
Keep the dyno charts coming - I'm interested in seeing more!

I had mine custom tuned by Eurocharged here in Houston. I asked for a conservative tune. Before and after also have the following mods - Evoms intakes, IPD plenum, and Fabspeed bypass pipes. I have no idea what it was stock. I also have APR diverter valves, just as a FYI.

That's a great dyno. You got a huge boost in torque compared to the other dyno chart from your ECU tune. Seems like your horsepower seems to correlate with the Softronic gain, but that torque spike is huge.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
