Escort 9500CI and Laser Interceptor

Right now i have a installed V1 and ZRshifter in our Cayenne TT.

I am thinking about going with the 9500CI and LI HP.

DO you like your 9500CI?

Has anyone compared it to the Valentine One?

Is it ok to have the 9500 and the LI or will the shifters conflict with the LI????

Thanks !

Works great and I have the same combo - no conflicts. The V1 is still the best radar detector IMO but for day to day use I love the 9500 since you nearly eliminate false alarms with the GPS function.

With the four heads on the front you shut down any attempt to get a reading - it is awesome!

EVERY single aspect in my opinion. The V1 quite simply is the best radar detector available today.

I am looking to get it installed on my gt3 and I live in a province where it is illegal. I am told that the 9500 ci is un detectable by the police. I hope

The 1st one i had would just turn off randomly, i sent it back and got another without any fuss. After about 4 months the 2nd one would get stuck on the alarm. I have many friends that have no issues at all but i seem to have bad luck with them.

Thumbs up

What is an LI HP???

I have the 9500ci and the best feature is the AutoX which eliminates false signals. I have had two warranty issues which Escort has handled quite well.

My only complaint is that the advanced warning for photo radar locations was no long enough to accomodate spirited driving through Phoenix and it seemed the data base had omitted some known obvious locations.

9500ci worked all the way to Alaska--such devices are not legal in Canada. It let me know some speed traps in advance.

On the open road it gives ample warning of hunters ahead. Built in and goes on with starting the car. No one sees it--not prone to break-ins (fingers crossed!)

Laser Interceptor - they are the best laser jammers on the market based on most testing reports. On most of my cars I have both the 9500ci and the LI. I love the 9500 too as the reduction of false alarms actually makes me pay attention when it does go off.

How do you combine the two units? Wiring and settings? While we don't use laser up here (yet), Canada and the states certainly do.

Do you leave off any of the 9500ci's components?

They are both installed independently. If you are getting hit with laser they both activate.
