Anyone know how to remove the entire ashtray on my 05 S?
It broke on the Midnight run while agressively pulling out my radar detectors power cord. When I close it, it wont catch and just slides open again. Anyone know how to pull out the entire assembly? I am sure I can fig it out, but why waste time

Remove the horseshoe trim around the radio, depress the little spring tabs to pop out the A/C control head (a 90 degree pick works really well, just insert and twist), then you will see (2) T20 torx screws to remove.

Actually - completely forgot. I removed my sub last month as I dropped a bunch of fuses down in the well and they were rattling around. Here is what I found UNDER the sub all green and stuck to the floor pan.

This foxed me for a while. I took these 2 pictures. You can see the clip when removed, and you can just see the silver vertical edge when the unit is fitted (circled).
They needed a good push inwards with a flat screwdriver to unclip (the blade would be pushed against the left of the clip in this picture).
