Will this fit

Will this wheel fit a 2006 Turbo? He says the part number is a 7L5.601.025.S - I've just seen different letters at the end, A E and now S. Wanted to double check before I take the plunge.

Additional tire info: Wheels: 8JX18, offset: 57. Tire size: 255/55/18

Thanks

I'm looking for snow tires, and therefore an 18". I'm looking for info on whether this specific wheel WILL or WILL NOT fit.

To me it looks like it's a the Cayenne Turbo II, as the seller indicates its a OEM porsche rim.

Thanks.

The concern is there are 18" rims that will fit and some will not, because of the larger brake caliper on the Turbo.

From what I can tell, these do fit.

My local Porsche shop confirmed the POR 955362136509A1 part number, and it cross referenced to the number on the rim.

Front & Rear alloy wheels: 18x8" ET57
Wheel part number: POR 955362136509A1
Additional alloy part number: 7L5601025S

It definitely will fit.

I'm using this exact 18" wheels for my 2008 CTT winter setup.

Yes, they are the stock wheels for CTT.

Thanks Tim, it's nice to have hands-on confirmation.

Mind me asking which tires you have with them? Pirelli's or?

I see these wheels on sale here , are you planning to buy these? Looks like they came on a 2010 CTT so you shouldnt have any problem.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...Q5fAccessories

I am also selling a set of 18" rims and winter tires but not sure if they will fit the CTT , you can find more info on my post here -

FWIW I think the 08 CTT brakes are different than the 03-06 CTT brakes, right?

The 03-06 CTT and S are the same brakes.

No, not quite, 03-06 CTT had 350mm brakes but 06 CTT-S got bumped up to the current 380mm which only fit 19" wheels.

The middle ground is the 08+ turbo brakes which are 368mm, the largest size still allowing an 18" wheel.

This 380mm is the same brake upgrade kit included in the "power kit" for the CTT.

My point was more that they are simple "different" from the early to late CTT. Which *Might* put the caliper at a slightly different spacing. Meaning that just because a certain 18" wheel fits one, it might not fit the other. Spokes are curved differently on different wheels. So not all 18" wheels are going to fit exactly the same.

Yes, the Pirelli snow tires.

Maybe a quick phone call to your local Porsche parts department to clear up the fitting concern?
