First of all hello all Porsche owners, ive been follow this forum as a guest for a while but now im a member

I have a -06 Cayenne and better cars are not build i think, of course there are some isues, dont like the transmission as im use to drive Mercedes.
anyway, one of the common problems ive no of is fog inside the headlight, ive tried to dry it out with a hairdryer but no luck.. allmost as if it where grease inthere. so i did like this

remove the projektorlens to the lowbeam (4torx)


Get your wife with tiny hands to go in there with a cloth with windowcleaner


there are 2 filters on in bottom and one in the snorkel in back of the housing
change those with something cleaner


put all togheter and now you can go out and see clear again

Thanks for that tip. I have that same issue. I already have the parts on two TSBs on order. I think I will do what you had done, in addition to the two TSBs. I do know that one TSB superceded the other, but I am so frustrated with this issue that I decided to order the parts for both, just to be sure there is less chances for recurrence.

 

ok..TSB? what do you mean?

 

TSB- technical service bulletin, issued by Porsche when they identify an issue and have a way to repair it, includes a diagnosis of the issue, repair guidelines, parts requirements etc.

Just did this job. Awesome tip and great pictures. It does help a lot if you have a 10 year old daughter like I do.
