Epresso/cognac

He's probably in awe having taken delivery.
I love that interior and it's my first choice but I'm definitely going with the sport steering wheel and wood may detract from sporty set up I'm going for. The aluminum bugs me, too much if it especially around the center console area. The other 'sporty' trim piece is carbon fiber but with 2 tone browns?? Disaster?? Other possibility I'm considering is monotone espresso with interior leather package that puts leather where the aluminum is.

Just got home and snapped some quick pix- very tough in the late afternoon sun. Car did not disappoint! Tough to keep the speed down because it feels like it's going 15 mph slower than it actually is

There was so much to play with I forgot to dial in the side bolsters Adjustable thigh support is superb, I think I forgot about the side bolsters because it was so comfortable as it was.

Gammaman: This is the first owner shot picture of an espresso/cognac interior. The chrome trim on the Burmester and the olive wood package you have chosen seems to be a very good match to the espr/cogn interior. I also love the sporty look of the 18-way seats. Don't think, we will let you loose.... enjoy the beauty safely with your family and get back to us on your first impressions including the audio system.

Very nice. Look forward to seeing some high resolution photos. A cloudy day would do.

gammaman: is the shade and tone of the cognac what you expected?
I have seen multiple pics now of your car and others, including pics of a Panamera with cognac interior ... The color is not always the same, even looking on different screens. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I'm not so sure. The pics the dealer took of your car that you posted (without flash?) had a "warmer" tone to the leather but other pics including ones took yesterday seem different. For myself, I'm sort of afraid of "which cognac" will show up on mine if I order it.
also, did you get espresso mats or something? what's on the floor in those pics?

The pictures that the dealer took (with his iphone!) are actually a very accurate rendition of the color. I took those pictures yesterday in the late afternoon sun which basically washed out the color tone. The cognac is a very warm and rich looking shade, quite different than Luxor although you might not know it from my pictures. I'll take more pictures in better light. Yes, the floor mats are espresso. I'm glad they went with that as it will hide the dirt better.

thanks gammaman!
My dealer thinks (knows) I am insane as I have gone back and forth so many times on my interior configuration. I keep waffling about whether to do the E/C or straight espresso. I'd like the cognac if it has a warm rich look to it but not if it is too much like luxor beige or a more washed out sorta tan. I kinda have to decide on Monday.
Although the olive wood looks great in your case, I'm going with the sport wheel and want to avoid the wood. I sat in car with the brushed aluminum and don't like it, especially in the center console so I'm going with the leather package that puts espresso leather where your wood is, should work nicely.

While it will probably be difficult to find a stock Cayenne with Cognac, it is a fairly common color in the Panamera. Call a few dealers in your area and see if they have one in stock and see it "up close & personal." I have seen a few Panameras in Cognac and the dealer pictures are very accurate - much more so than Gammaman's pictures (sorry Gammaman, no insult to your photographic skills meant) which looks more like beige. This interior, including the olive wood, will be my choice when I replace the Turbo S.
