PTV or PDCC

Don't beat yourself up over it. It was pointed out to me by salesman but totally forgot about it with daytime driving. At night it was more noticeable. What a great concept to let someone use the vehicle the whole weekend for an extended test drive ... was hard to give back :-)

FJ, one of the area delaers has only one V8 and one CTT in his inventory. Hence no question of extended test drive. He says if I want I can have the panamera for the weekend. Also on the Cayennes believe it or not he has 2 V6, 1 hybrid, 1 V8 and 1 CTT coming in (not pre-sold) from now through March. Thats all for inventory. I went wow !!
I just spoke to him to ask about the heated windshield and he did tell me that he just drove a CTT with heated windscreen in the night for a good several hours and did not even think that glare or halo was in issue.

it might be a question of individual perception? I have the heated winshield on RR and the lines dont bother me at all. Can you change it?

I played around with a demo CTT without those things and was very impressed with the handling as it. Those goodies I'm told take it to the next level of performance - all the info I have on it is second hand BUT I'll be sure to post my impressions when I get mine with the sport package

You haven't found any with PTV because it's new for 2011.

If you are getting a turbo then you are looking for some serious performance. I drove a base S with no PDCC or PTV and it leans and doesn't like to be pushed super hard in and out of corners. I would figure out a way to drop other options and figure out a way to get them both if cost is an issue.
For a turbo to be usable just add rims, pdcc, ptv, panoramic roof, and entry drive - maybe hitch and ball if you need it.

Did it have PASM / Air Suspension?

Too late. Early Dec build. It gives me some hope that the HW on your RR did not bother you at all. Thank you.

Heated windshield
Just picked up my turbo yesterday with heated windshield. I drove it last night -how is this even legal? It's not bad until a car comes toward you. You get a weird reflection - feels like i need glasses. I don't know what i am going to do. I will give it a week to see if I get used to it but I doubt it.

I agree - how could Porsche engineers think this was OK? Its really really not. I can deal with the daytime - occasionally your eyes focus on it and thats all you see, but nighttime is not even a minor inconvenience. Anyone know if this is available in the Panamera?
