just called the dealer and they don't come prepainted anymore --only primed.

I don't really feel like havinh some poor guy mix paint and shoot them for a couple of bucks. he might even laugh at me.

do you want to sell me the ones of your old turbo?

maybe when I come down to have my wing fitted and re-painted on the 996, I can pick the plugs up at the same time.

So, I went to Lucent today to check out the facilities, get a quote, and pick up my bumper plugs.

I was really impressed with Arling's place and his staff (not to mention the incredible rides that were there...and Arling's new baby)!

Arling really goes above and beyond what you'd normally expect from a shop of this caliber. If you have been following this post, you'll remember that normal bumper plugs wouldn't work because they were too big and created a gap at the top. Arling went out and bought, color matched, and painted these custom bumper plugs for my cayenne because that's the kind of guy he is.
