You must be joking, the only reason there is a V6 is for pricing reasons.
The touareg/cayenne are designed around a V8 engine.
Less weight doesn't mean better balance...

actually the new VW Touareg is only offered with 6 cylinder engines - VR6, 6 cylinder TDI, or the hybrid supercharged V6

Ok you are right. The 300HP Cayenne V6 is a better balanced car then the 500HP Twin Turbo V8...

Why not take out the V6 and put in a highly modded 4 cilinder from a 944 turbo, to balance it even better?

Never, ever, seen HPA sell anything for less than 10k . Their kits for VW's start at 20k. and go up from there. You really think their gonna throw something together for a Porsche for less than 10k?

Anyways, spend the money on a ctt and save yourself a lot of headache.
