so today i was driving and all of a sudden an exclamation sign with the hood open pic pops up on my dash. i pulled over and checked and it was closed. i opened the hood, closed it again and it went away. driving a little bit more it came on again then turned off. it keeps doing it randomly now.

where exactly is the switch/sensor located?

maybe loose wires?

 

what year and model....on 955 and 957 never really seen this before....others please chime in.

 

its a 04' V6
