Well, asking on this forum is likely to create only one response. The Cayenne will be much better. Power, quality, style, size all much better on a Porsche than a RR. Haven't driven the evoque but specs are considerably lower than a CS or even the base V6.

Go for the Cayenne. You know you rather have the Cayenne or you wouldn't even be posting here. Actually you should try and test drive each one and then make your decision.

I've never owned a Range Rover but have had friends that have had them. They didn't have much luck with them. Don't get me wrong every vehicle could have it issues but....
I know it's hard to decide on the next new ride.

I was debating this same thing. I was thinking about the new Range Rover Evoque or the Cayenne and from all the testimonies I've heard from people plus the JD Powers survey, Land Rovers have very poor build quality. My friend tells me that his friend's Range Rover is always in the shop. In JD Power's survey, Porsche was rated #1 in reliability. This definitely swayed my opinion into seriously considering the Cayenne. Granted the Evoque is much cheaper (depending on the Cayenne model) and it does look nice, but I couldn't get over the reliability and also it's a smaller vehicle inside and out versus the Cayenne. After test driving the Cayenne, there was no doubt that I wanted everything that came with a Porsche. Top quality, beautiful style, brand recognition, performance. I know I'm a bit biased since I've decided on the Porsche and am about to receive delivery soon, but if I were you, I'd do some more research on both cars before you make your decision. If the Evoque is in the dealership now, that's great because you can do some more side-by-side comparisons.

they don't call Vogue here in the states. do u mean Range Rover or Range Rover Sport? by calling Vogue i assume u mean full size Range Rover. it's don't really compare to Cayenne S, which should be compare to the Sport.

by all mean if u want luxury, go with the Rover. if u want an overall package, go with the Cayenne. regardless the build quality, current Rover is old technology compare to Cayenne.

I have had both, granted neither of them brand new but comparible years... 05 Cayenne Turbo vs 06 Range Rover..

Without a question, Porsche is the way to go. Better build quality, better handling, more guts, just overall way better. You will not be disappointed with the Porsche

I'm sure a RR forum will say buy one a RR. You need to make this decision yourself. They're 2 totally different vehicles.
