Aftermarket Headunit to replace CDR?
Hey Guys, So Ive been researching non-stop trying to find the ONE answer but I see different answers everywhere.
So I have a 2006 Cayenne V6. It just has the basic CDR-23 (No PCM?), No cd changer, and i see the Bose logo on the speaker covers on the door panels so I can only assume I have the Bose surround.
I want to remove the CDR and add the Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT. Do I need the Nav-TV module to adapt to the fiber optics? Or.. What exactly do i need to do this?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You need just the vw ah 1004 wiring adapter on non bose to install a after market radio.
At installer getting kenwood dnx with bluetooth put in feel I'm getting taken for a few hundred for a 300 install.

Ok to summate what I have right now
Metra Double Din updated harness for double din $86 on amazon
Kenwood DDX719 $499 at BB/Online/Amazon/local stereo place
Metra Universal Steering Wheel Controls $49 on amazon
VW 1004 adapter wiring for aftermarket to system wiring.(CDR-23 and non Bose have this I believe). $29-40 bucks
Install quote $300 (because its a porsche?, I have to remove alot of panels? um I can take the bezel off and 4 spline screws in about 8 minutes.....the computer is sensitive....um ok so I guess this is insurance in case you fry it?)
Getting it done now because I didnt want to have to install the aftermarket double din thing, I have sliced my hand very badly 10 years ago on an install and its worth the 140 I believe I am being over charged..
