I know from past turbo cars I've owned that A LOT of oil can be pulled into and forced into the intercooler pipes due to the factory crank case pressure setups, where it will sit and puddle over time. A oil catch can solves a lot of this oil build up in the intake and intercooler plumbing. If a turbocharger was blown...you'd know it. Oil smoke on decel is pretty common.

I agree as I had to change my entire catch can setup on my 900hp civic when i started making over 600. Either way Im taking it in. If it is a seal they can fix it. If it is a turbo then hopefully they will replace it and one less thing to worry about down the road.

You have a warranty which is good; however, it sucks to take all that stuff off though. I dont, so I'm gonna have to get creative Yea, I had a nice catch can setup on my all of my old turbo cars (94 Sing T Supra, EVO, etc). The Cayenne needs one now.

Yeah I am just concerned about putting the stock airbox back in. It was a ***** pulling it out.

garukun is infamous around these parts
underpressure02, about that air connection hose, could you share some tips on how you put it back on? I'm not having trouble putting is back on, mainly because I dont know how that lil plastic head works to tighten it.

And now that I see you dont even have the green cap, so it's definitely not because of that... Did you just "plug and play"?
