Anyone have there windshield wiper LINKAGE fail?
So it rained for the first time in about 3 weeks and i turn the wipers on and i heard a clunking sound . The drivers side wiper was all jerky and loud. It also would not return to the down (off) position, it wilk only go to about 6 inches from the closed position.
Brought it to the dealershp and they just told me its the wiper linkage and its gonna cost $621!?
I nearly **** a baby gorilla when i heard that quote. I just had them do the wiper motor about 3 months ago.
Has Anyone else had to fix this. And anyone know where i could possibly order this cheaper?

Ok well i found the whole link assembly ob oemporscheparts.com
For 139.00
And i cant imagine it takes 6 1/2 hours to put in. So i dont know where the rest of the estimate is coming from.
So im gonna order it and bring it to my indy.
If anyone else has this problem ill include the link for the part.

Mine just failed. I looked under the drivers side wiper blade and noticed the casting that attaches to the arm and wiper blade has cracked and seperated. Wiper works but misses the windshield entirely. Looks like the link above should solve my problem. Any one have any quick and dirty removal instructions?
Thanks
Thanks
