Question 05 CTT - Check Engine Light Came On - Need Help

So yesterday, noticed the CEL (check engine light) came on (not flashing, just solid amber).
Pulled the codes and reset all faults.
Reseated my gas cap to ensure it is fully closed. Since I was almost empty of gas, filled up (not that it is very relevant ...lol).
Today, after about 40 miles or so, CEL came back on again. Originally there were 2 codes (will post update with those), but after reset, only 1 came back (I imagine the other will return soon but we will see).

Pulled codes with Durametric cable/sw, and here is what I got:

ENGINE
B3901
Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow - Upper limit value exceeded, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

Any ideas on what can be causing this error and how it can be fixed DYI?
What maintenance items could be causing something like this? (my first thought - dirty air filters? - i have not checked them yet so do not know if dirty - got the car about 2 months ago).

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Incorrect purge flow in my experience is usually a failed EVAP purge valve, though other things such as a pinched line can cause that fault.

where is the evap purge valve located (how easy to replace)?
Anything else can trigger such a code/behavior? There was no work being done on the car so pinched line would be a stretch I think - what do you think?
Will it hurt the car if not replaced asap?

bensonJ is infamous around these parts
I agree with the evap/tank vent valve. The valve is attached to a pipe/hose and runs from connector on firewall (near fuel line) to area around throttle body. It is mostly under the driver's side coil cover near fuel injectors/rail. Also check plumbing around bottom of intake y-pipe for leaks or rubbing on belt, etc. Not so critical that it would hurt the car in any way if not remedied right away.

After the last reset with durametric, the error has not yet returned. Been about 60 miles or so. All I dix was to check air filter not that would do any diff. If this does not come back, I assume it resolved itself?

Updating old thread. It was bad purge valve. Replaced. Made DIY and posted on here and on renntech.org. search for my threads to find.
