I'm doing a full Techart Magnum conversion (Bodykit, exhaust, trim, CF hood...), and my cayenne is already matte black, but this time I will black out the aluminium as well (not sure why I didn't the first time round ). But I'm keeping my OEM GTS wheels, but adding spacers (they already stick out of the fender). They are currently painted the OEM silver, but ever since I got them, I wanted to paint them gloss/satin black with a red stripe (my friend did it on his black CTT with a silver stripe and it looks amazing!). And I love how it compliments the brakes! I have the same badge BTW (not going to put the magnum badge on I don't think) So yours re-assured me that it will look great!

Ahh, so you found the "Design Edition" badge too.
I was suppose to get my exhaust tips ceramic coated this week (it's only $60 for both), but with the 100+ degree weather here in Denver, I couldn't be bothered this weekend to climb under there and take them off.

Wow, sounds like a lot, now I'm even more intrigued.

Yea, I saw the badge on the "PORSCHE DESIGN" edition GTS and really liked the badge. Bought it on eBay I also had a set of "PORSCHE DESIGN" Caliper decals made for the fronts, OEM for the rears. I wanted something a little different

S4treg,
How do you like the Leistung secondary cat bypass? Any drone or regrets, and does it change volume/intensity when you hit the Sport button? I am looking for a mildly more aggressive exhaust note when Sport is not engaged, and then a loud beast when I hit the button.
Thanks,
Smittycat

I love them, and the sound was what I was looking for. Loud.
Without the sport button on, under normal driving, it's not that noticeable. However, even without the sport button on, if you get on it, think on ramp to highway, car pushes 4-6.5k RPM's, the sound erupts. Think Turbo lag but in this case with exhaust noise...it just comes on and almost sounds like you hit the sport button.
Now with sport mode, I've had some wives in the neighborhood ask what's wrong with my car, and why it's so loud. The husbands of course laugh. It's loud in sport, and it starts off loud. Interesting, but if you get on it in sport mode, it'll be loud from 1800-3500 rpm's and then it goes quiet till about 5500 rpm's. It's as if you can hear the exhaust just flowing through cleanly, like it's almost being sucked out. But that only happens if you are doing WOT. If you drive normal...applying half throttle, but build rpm's from 2k-5+k, it'll hold the loud exhaust noise.
I'll just say, if you are even a bit concerned it'll be too loud you should just get the same system with the resonators.

Hi, i recently bought my first Porsche, Cayenne 'S' with GTS kit, i always drive around lower suspension setup (i love the lower stance), so will it effect the tire wear?

This isn't scientific, and perhaps all Cayenne's will do this regardless of the height setting. Oh, and I had an E55 in between the CTT and GTS, it was lowered, and it was known all over the boards that lowering them and running on sport II would run the inside of the tires more quickly.
I use all these collective experiences to make my statements, but I welcome others thoughts.

Well, we had a 955 CTT before these GTS's, and I used to drive in lowered sport mode all the time. It was at 15k miles that I noticed the inside of the rear tires were wearing faster than the rest of the tires. Heck i wouldn't go as far as to say bald, but it was noticeable. So I started playing with the height, and when looking at the car from the rear, noticed the tires were more cambered when in the sport mode.

Just have to nurse these for a couple of more months before I switch to the dedicated winter setup.
The plus side is that negative camber typically translates into more grip when cornering.

Another thing, i guess a highly inflated tyres may have more inside thread wear, may be that could be the reason for uneven thread wear.

Yes, it's true the cars lower at highway speeds, but honestly most of my driving is around town, so I'm not getting over 70mph. That's not to say I don't have highway runs, it's just 75-80% of my personal driving is around Denver. But, yes, most of us will run up against wear no matter what. You can help yourself though by not doing daily driving in low sport, unless you just don't care about the wear. Which I get, as I drive in sport mode around time sometimes, because I'm trying to have fun, and want the additional sportiness.
I'm pretty sure highly inflated tires wear down the middle, under inflated will wear the outsides.
Sit the car in the parking lot and check it out. Raise it, and look at the rear, then lower and look at the rear. You can see the difference visually.
