Photo shoot - Black Cayenne GTS

When I was busy putting the video together for the Leistung cat by-pass, I also snapped a few photos. Clearly I'm enjoying the blacked out look.

Ha. My wife has a silver GTS, untouched, and it definitely doesn't look as tough...my kids, 6 & 4 even want to take mine over mom's. And you know how aggressive the Leistung pipes make it sound, definitely turns heads. Waiting on my Leistung ColdAir, excited.

yep! I know! . Mine sounds pretty sinister most of the time.

Are you waiting on the carbon fiber intakes?

Yes sir. Per Rob, they may be one of the first "public" ones. For that I owe him a photo-shoot with the intakes, which I gladly accepted. You know, your car is like your kids, you are proud of it.

It's on this other thread.

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...t-removal.html

I did that for search purposes. When people search for info on secondary pipes, etc, they find it easier.

Yeah, when I met Rob to pick up the pipes, we spoke about your car and some of the video's.

Nice pics! I did a few initial renderings for my black CTT with black rims w/ red stripes. In the end, I decided to go in a different direction. I have to say that it looks much better in person than the renderings. Kudos!

BTW, how did you end up with two Cayenne GTS' in your garage? I absolutely love my CTT, but wouldn't think of having two vehicles with the same exact pro/con list. Is it for part sourcing?

You are spot on. I was very concerned about the red stripe, and don't really like it in pictures. But when you see the car in person, you almost couldn't imagine it without it, like it needs the contrast.

Uh, perhaps a better conversation over beers, but I'll try and summarize. Loved our 955CTT, we need an SUV for ski trips, general kid stuff, and my wife got pissed at my taking her car all the time. I though about getting another C4, but in the end realized I too needed an SUV...I didn't look any further than the Cayenne. I did want a Turbo, and negotiated on one, but price won out on the GTS.

BTW, it's given the neighbors a lot of fuel for gossip.

With the lowering links, did the ride became really bouncy?

I have the links as well, mine is set pretty low, (your photo hight in my "normal" setting),
Mine is really bouncy, I am thinking of raising it a little bit.

Your input please.

So, while the car was in sport mode, I actually manually raise the car back up to "middle" level, and that's what you see it running as in the video. I mainly do this for tire wear, so I don't drive with too much camber.

If I were to describe the feel of the ride lowered, in full on sport mode, low height, it's very stiff, dare I say rough. I too may take a turn out each side to give it just a little height so sport mode rides where it is in the pictures.
