controlit: did you try to drive other Cayenne S in the dealership? probably you may want to service your car and get a S loaner and drive it in the traffic

You can try DEETZ and JAMY's suggestions, but if you're fed up and the dealer is not much help I cant blame you. The A8L is an awesome car, no doubt, I've driven it before drives just like my A4 but more Luxurious, handles very well but dont they use the same tech as the PSM , they have the ESP also. I read a post someone was complaining about the allroad hesitation as well if I'm not mistaken.. But they have the sport on the transmission that get's rid of the lag on normal drive. Good luck on what decision you'll make.

Deetz, I will probably not give up so fast and drive another at the dealer. I am crushed with work for the next couple of weeks but will eventually out what I am going to do with the CS..

Yes, Alex, the person complaining about the Allroad was ME! Little did I know that the Cayenne would be 10 times worse! and yes, it scares me to even think the a8 will have similar problems.

With the Allroad, in Tip mode the problems were gone. With the Cayenne, it gets confused in heavy traffic combined with aggressive driving and just can't deal...

Dealer hasnt really given me any problems... yet... knock on wood. i go to mckenna in norwalk CA. 2004 cayenne s with about 15k miles. some problems i would tell u to look out for would be

rattles (taken my car in 2x to fix them), they are insanely annoying. and they come from eveywhere... from the A to the B to the C pillars... gahhh taking my car in saturday for another one.

horrible remote range... i got new key fobs and i swear it got worse.

mileage. enough said

yeah other then that... no major mechanical errors or anything... i mean i have some problems with like navi sometimes or my cd changer but other then that its been a great car. by far the best suv on the market (besides the CTT)

i hope you will be joining the family.

Make sure that the S in the dealership satisfies you so you will get another one or upgrade to Turbo

Dont you have to have a dealer license to go to the auctions? Can you just go with a dealer as a spectator and ask him to bid for what you want>?

ya pretty much, my uncle has a dealer license and my father went with him to get the Range, and almost the e class. You can have them bid for you, but usually they charge a 500-1000 commission

the deals are great he got his CL55 for 90k with 1000 miles on it

I wouldnt mid paying someone a 1000 for a good deal on a car at all, wuick wuestion do you get to see the cars and options first before the auction starts or are there way too many. Like for example can you browse around for a bit so you can know which cars you are going to bid on?

ya some what. also when they accept your bid they let you look at the car, and you can choose if you want it or now. the eclass that we gave back ended up being sold for more
