Sorry, I did not take any before and after pictures, since the "after" would have been used rotors - so not an apples to apples comparison. However, I did noticed when they arrived that the hat area received a thicker, dark-grey metallic paint of much better quality around this area (see original attachment). It is visibly more attractive and should provide better corrosion resistance. Compare this to the factory rotor, where you pretty much see a matte grey primer sort of finish that should some minor hint of rust after a couple of years. This one should hold up much better.

I have been on this Brembo rotor set for about 2,000 miles. Fits like a glove! Very happy with this purchase. Anyone else who jumped on it will be ecstatic too. Very glad I have a spare set in my garage.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I will not be qualified to answer this question since I have primarily aggressive miles on my CTT (read: so this isn't a GT2?!) so I swapped out the factory pads for Carbotech XP8 light race/autocross pads on it daily. Much better grip with the SS lines and Castrol SRF fluid swap.
I was told our ctt lines are SS. The hose itself is made of rubber/plastic. Inside is SS. If factory lines are not SS, I should have them changed when I replace the pads and fluid.

Did you change the pads and lines at the same time you replaced the "premium" rotors? because it is hard to believe simply change the rotors will make big change and gives much better stopping power =)

I took several pictures and analyzed the new replacement SS brake lines with the OEM brake lines - trust me, the OEM lines are just standard rubber lines.

Brembo, the caliper manufacturer, even sells an SS line upgrade in their UK catalog for the 957. Unfortunately, Brembo US does not sell them - which was confusing when I called them.

I think you misunderstood me. I credit my increased stopping power to the Carbotech XP8 race pads (better fade resistance), SS lines (better brake line pressure), Castrol SRF (highest wet boiling point brake fluid), 911 GT3 brake ducts (additional rotor cooling) together - not the "premium" rotor. I think the "premium" rotor will just have an easier time preventing rust.

ECS is a good deal!

I bought rotors using part# off the Brembo site Ken posted. $200 shipped for fronts and $160 shipped for rears on AMAZON!

Sensors are $20 shipped for a set of 4 on Ebay. I also found the EBC yellow pads on Ebays for the lowest price.
