I just bought an iPOD Photo 30G with a wireless FM transmitter from Monster. The reception and sound quality was poor. What especically annoy me was the background static noise. Does anyone know of a way to hardwire it to the stereo system. I got the Bose system without PCM. Thanks !

My sound shop said its possible but the quality of the music will be poor

which model transmitter, where did you get it and how much?

 

Its not a. FM Transmitter, its an FM Modulator they are very different animals. Mine is a Panasonic, I got it from my local high end stereo store. I have seen them regularly on Ebay.

 

hows the sound wuality on your fm modulator?

 

As good as the best FM Stations, not quite CD
