Question: OEM Wiper Blades

The dealer said the tabs on my front windsheild wipers would fit better if I was using real Porsche wiper blades rather than VW Toureg wiper blades.

Questions:

Anyone notice a difference in performance between Porsche and VW wiper blades?

Who has the best prices?

Thanks in Advance

I doubt this makes a difference. I am sure there is always a tech or service manager that will tell you that the OEM Porsche parts will always fit/work "better". FWIW, I would have no problem replacing my windshield wipers with the single blade Rain-X Latitude type.

White Knight is infamous around these parts
Right after I paid over $50.00 for new OEM wiper blades last spring I learned Costco has Good Year brand replacements for under $10.00. I can't tell any real difference between OEM and Good Year.
By the way, I'm in northern Oregon where it seems it never stops raining so if they work here they will work everywhere else.

My experience:
The porsche specialist asked me if I mind running VW Toureg battery in my car. The Toureg battery is 100% compatible. Basically the same thing with porsche one. only differences is the label and words. I end up saving three hundred dollars. you know the answer.
