very important as ciaka pointed out that loosing the fill screw first before draining. just in case the fill hole is stuck.

Although several fluids can be used, all of which satsfy the Porsche requirements, i chose to go with a fluid chosen by anotber member (on here and renntech), who has gone into trouble of fluid comparison, and confifmed by others as well.
this product actually exceeds the needs but you can choose something else if you do not trust it. Thanks.

Service manual calls for .75 Qt I believe, but since some is spilled due to fill process, you will use close to 1Qt. I used almost all.

I do not know the service interval for transfer case, but since it is easy and cheap to do, I will likely do this every couple years. Will do same for rear and front differentials too.
If someone knows actual service intervals for t.c, rear diff, frt diff, chime in please.

t-case and manual trans arent even remotely in the same ballpark. I have used rl mtl in my esprit and 00 ws6. I wasnt impressed but it also was no worse than what i drained from either...
